Prof. Sandhya Rathore is currently serving in the Department of Sanskrit, Hansraj College, University of Delhi and has 28 years of rich teaching experience. She completed her B.A. (Hons) Sanskrit and M.A. Sanskrit from Hansraj College and secured the first position in the University of Delhi in 1989 during her B.A. (Hons) Sanskrit.

Prof. Rathore has been honoured with the Sanskrit Pratibha Award and Sanskrit Teacher’s Honour by the Sanskrit Sahitya Akademi.

She has published 16 books, out of which 13 are school-level books published by Sultanchand & Sons. Her notable publications with Motilal Banarsidass include: 1. Tarkasaṅgraha with Tarka Dīpikā and 2. Tarkasaṅgraha with Nyāyabodhinī Commentary.

Her dissertation titled Analytical Study of Vyākaraṇabhūṣaṇasāra by Kauṇḍabhaṭṭa has been published by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR).

She has also published 14 research papers in UGC CARE-listed and refereed journals.

Under her guidance, four students have completed their M.Phil. degrees and six students have been awarded their Ph.D. degrees, while three students are currently pursuing Ph.D. under her supervision.

She has organised several national-level seminars and workshops and has presented research papers at various international and national conferences.
