Dr. Kirthee Devi Ramjatton is a Lecturer in Sanskrit and Head of the Department of Sanskrit at the School of Indological Studies, Mahatma Gandhi Institute (MGI), Mauritius.

She holds a PhD in Sanskrit specializing in Pāṇinian Grammar, along with Master's degrees in Sanskrit and Hindi. With over two decades of teaching experience spanning primary, secondary, and tertiary education, she has also served as Head of the Department of Indology.

Dr. Ramjatton is an active researcher with numerous publications in Peer-Reviewed Journals and presentations at National and International Conferences, including the World Sanskrit Conferences.

Her research interests include Sanskrit grammar and linguistics, Indian Knowledge Systems, ethics, value education, Sanskrit-Hindi linguistic studies, and the history and development of Sanskrit in Mauritius.

She has contributed extensively to curriculum development, teacher training, and the design of innovative Sanskrit programmes.

A member of the Editorial Boards of International Research Journals, she is committed to advancing scholarly research and promoting Sanskrit language, literature, and Indian knowledge traditions through academic, literary, and public outreach initiatives.
