With over 23 years of teaching experience, Prof. Bishnupada Mahapatra holds Navya Nyaya Acharya, Sarvadarshan Acharya, Ph.D., and D.Litt. His areas of specialization include Navya-Nyaya, Prachin Nyaya, Vaisheshika & Indian Philosophy & has contributed to teaching, research, curriculum development & academic guidance. He has held responsibilities such as HoD, Subject Head and Library Incharge & has been a member of various academic & research committees. He has authored 5 books, 25 research articles and has contributed to academic content development through EPG Pathshala and MOOCs. He has served as Visiting Professor at institutions such as Yadavpur University and Midnapore College, and has also worked as a Subject Expert in workshops on Nyaya texts. His academic participation includes 15 Extension Lectures, 20 Conferences, 8 Workshops, 30 Seminars and 2 Shastrarth lectures. He also visited Perth, Australia, for examining manuscripts. He has guided 12 Ph.D. scholars, co-guided 3 doctoral scholars and supervised 4 M.Phil. students. Prof. Mahapatra has received several honours, including the Maharshi Badrayan Vyas Samman (President’s Award), Vidwat Bhushan Award and Bharat Gaurav Pandit K.S.Ramaswamy Shastri National Award.
