Dr. Rajendrakumar Dabee is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute (MGI), Mauritius, and currently Head, Department of Philosophy.

His Academic qualifications include a B.A. in Indian Philosophy from the University of Mauritius, a Master’s degree from Bharathidasan University, a PGCE from the Mauritius Institute of Education and a Ph.D. from the University of Madras. He also holds Diplomas in Indian Philosophy, Sanskrit and Yoga.

With more than three decades of teaching experience, spanning primary, secondary and tertiary levels, he has developed a comprehensive vision of Education. Since 2013, he has been an active member in the Department of Philosophy at the MGI, where he is engaged in the teaching, research, and promotion of Indian Philosophy.

Dr. Dabee's research interests include Darśanas, Sanskrit language, Ethics, Philosophical History of Mauritius, and Interdisciplinarity. While his area of specialization is Vedānta, he has also presented and authored papers which engage with various themes and explore alternative views and innovative solutions to contemporary issues.

As a certified Trainer for Arigatou International, Dr Dabee collaborates actively with the Council of Religions, Ramayana Centre and similar organisations in various activities and projects that promote Philosophical Thinking, Nation Building and Interfaith Dialogue.
