Dr. Nidhi Vedaratna has been serving in government service for the past 17 years. She pursued an in-depth study of grammatical sciences—from the Ashtadhyayi & Mahabhashya to Nirukta—as well as philosophical & spiritual texts, under the guidance of Dr. Pragya Devi and Pandita Medha Devi at Panini Kanya Gurukul, Varanasi. She has also acquired special proficiency in the rituals of the 16 traditional Indian Saṃskāras.
She has taught the complete Shrimad Bhagavad Gita twice and has also taught eleven Upanishads, through free classes. Currently, she is conducting a guided study (Svādhyāya) of the Valmiki Ramayana, integrating reflections on contemporary social issues. Under the NEP 2020, she has been associated with the NCERT writing committee & has contributed to translation and editorial work related to the NCF and HPC. Through her research presentations at the World Sanskrit Conferences (held in Japan, Nepal and other countries), she continues to elucidate the essence of the Sanskrit language & remains actively engaged in sustained research work.
